In the milder months, there's plenty to do here. Drive the kids a couple minutes to the Lakeview hotel to swim in the outdoor or indoor pools / hot tub. They're at the top of the ski hill (with a great view of Lake Bellaire a couple miles away!). Put in a few holes at the most picturesque golf courses in the state. Take a 15-minute drive out to gorgeous Torch Lake. Hike, bike and play on some of Michigan's most beautiful and well-kept trails. Or maybe just sit out on the deck with your morning coffee; high up in the trees, you'll hear only the whispering hardwoods and occasional chickadee.

BEDROOMS
The main level master bedroom is equipped with a new, adjustable queen bed. There's also a Smart LED TV with cable and a sizeable closet for storing your clothes and personal belongings. On the lower level, bedroom #2 has an adjustable queen size bed, a smart LED TV, dresser space and a closet. The kids will love the third bedroom - equipped with lots of shelf space, a dresser, and two sets of bunk beds. All linens and bedding are provided. As with most of the properties in the Schuss community, most rooms have their own heaters that can be set independently to keep everything nice and comfortable for everybody. The three bedrooms have newer wall A/C units for the summer months.
BATHROOMS
There is a full bath on the lower level with a stall shower. Upstairs you'll find another full bath with a tub/shower. All towels are provided, as is a hairdryer.
LAUNDRY ROOM
Located on the lower level, the laundry room has a newer washer and dryer.
OUTSIDE & OTHER AMENITIES
A large deck sits high in the trees and overlooks the hardwood forest. Feel free to relax with friends in the wooden barrel sauna right on the deck.

For skiing, the lifts at Schuss Mountain are a 2-minute drive away. After a day on the slopes, enjoy a cold beer and warm atmosphere at Ivan’s slope-side lounge. For even more skiing terrain, try Boyne Mountain - about a 35 minute drive away.

When you book with us, we'll be sending you a specially compiled list of our personal experiences up here over the years: attractions. restaurants, breweries, things to do, places to visit, etc. Not to mention, the best local spots to take a swim, ride a trail, sightsee, or just relax in four seasons in the best family vacation spot in the state! Rental Policy
CANCELLATIONS – If cancellation is done at least 30 days before date of arrival, deposits will be refunded. Cancellations made within 15-30 days of arrival will result in a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 15 days prior to stay are non-refundable. Because of the unpredictability of the weather, we cannot issue refunds for poor trail conditions, bad weather, etc.
SMOKING - This is a NON SMOKING / NON VAPING vacation rental property. Guests understand that smoking / vaping in the house is not permitted. If this rule is violated and smoking or vaping has been detected in the house, an additional $175 penalty will be assessed and the security deposit will be forfeited. If you do smoke outside, please put cigarette butts in the trash, not on the ground in the yard.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT: Check in time is 4PM. Check out time is 11AM.
PETS - Your pets are allowed in the house with prior approval. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse, and - please - pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture will incur extra cleaning fees.
AGE - The guest signing this agreement must be at least 25 years of age.
"GOOD NEIGHBOR" POLICY - We want you to have a ton of fun up here, but we need to respect our neighbors’ ability to do the same thing. Therefore, we have a strict “good neighbor policy”. If we receive a complaint regarding excessive noise or inappropriate behavior, we will have to ask you and your group to leave the premises. Please - let's work together to make sure everyone up here has a GREAT time!
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests is limited to nine (9) persons, unless other arrangements are made.
THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED ON THE PROPERTY: USE OF ILLEGAL DRUGS, USE OF FIREARMS, AND USE OF FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND. IF YOU ARE FOUND TO BE IN VIOLATION OF THESE RULES, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE WITH NO MONEY REFUNDED.
