Mountainview sleeps 9 comfortably and offers a full kitchen, large bedrooms (one with a custom gaming station), Wi-Fi, cable TV, and in-house laundry facilities. In the warmer months, rest on the balcony overlooking the heated pool, which is private only to Sudendorf guests. Mountainview Townhouse also provides our guests with membership access to the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs at The Summit Village.
The Bellaire area offers access to hundreds of attractions. Shanty Creek boasts four championship golf courses: Cedar River (Weiskopf), The Legend (Palmer), Schuss Mountain Course, and Summit Course. In addition, other excellent courses are conveniently located nearby. Take a short trip to Lake Bellaire, Torch Lake, or Grand Traverse Bay on Lake Michigan for swimming or boating, or enjoy a nice, relaxing canoe ride down the Jordan river.
After a long day on the links, shopping, hiking, biking, swimming, or boating, return to air-conditioned comfort at Mountainview. For the colder months, curl up in front of the fireplace with a good book and good company, with firewood provided at no charge.

A large deck faces the second green of the Schuss Mountain Golf Course and a scenic trail winding through the woods from Sudendorf to Schuss Village. This same trail connects you to miles of groomed cross-country skiing, biking, walking, and running trails. There's a gas grill for your use on the deck.

For skiing, the lifts at Schuss Mountain are a 2-minute drive away. After a day on the slopes, enjoy a cold beer and warm atmosphere at Ivan’s slope-side lounge. For even more skiing terrain, try Boyne Mountain - about a 40 minute drive away.

(Boats and trailers are not allowed in the complex parking lot, but there is trailer parking only a couple of minutes away near the main entrance to Shanty Creek)

Rental Policy
CANCELLATIONS – If cancellation is done at least 30 days before date of arrival, deposits will be refunded. Cancellations made within 15-30 days of arrival will result in a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 15 days prior to stay are non-refundable. Because of the unpredictability of the weather, we cannot issue refunds for poor trail conditions, bad weather, etc.
SMOKING - This is a NON SMOKING vacation rental condo. Guests understand that smoking in the property is not permitted. If this rule is violated and smoking has been detected in the condo, an additional $175 penalty will be assessed and the security deposit will be forfeited. If you do smoke outside, please put cigarette butts in the trash, not on the ground in the yard.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT: Check in is 4PM, Check out time is 11AM.
PETS - Your pets are allowed in the condo with prior approval. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse, and - please - pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture will incur extra cleaning fees.
AGE - The guest signing this agreement must be at least 25 years of age.
"GOOD NEIGHBOR" POLICY - We want you to have a ton of fun up here, but we need to respect our neighbors’ ability to do the same thing. Therefore, we have a strict “good neighbor policy”. If we receive a complaint regarding excessive noise or inappropriate behavior, we will have to ask you and your group to leave the premises.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests is limited to nine (9) persons, unless other arrangements are made.
THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED ON THE PROPERTY: USE OF ILLEGAL DRUGS, USE OF FIREARMS, AND USE OF FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND. IF YOU ARE FOUND TO BE IN VIOLATION OF THESE RULES, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE WITH NO MONEY REFUNDED.
