Trails End Cabin is a newer cottage located 20 min south of Lewiston, and 10 min west of Mio, Michigan. We're 3 minutes from the famous Au Sable river in the heart of the Huron National Forest.
Situated on 10 acres, the cabin adjoins thousands of heavily wooded national forest and offer lots of room, but lots of privacy. You'll enjoy all the comforts of home - in the middle of the woods.
This is a snowmobile and ATV riders' paradise with hundreds of miles of groomed, marked trails. In fact, you can ride your ATV or snowmobile from the front door right to the trail system and be gone for the rest of the day!
For the canoeing and tubing crowd, it's only a 3 minute drive to one of the many local canoe liveries.
The cabin is fully equipped with all cooking and eating utensils, towels and two TV/VCR/DVDs (sorry, there is no cable or telephone service, but who needs those up here?!). There is a double bed and TV in the main level bedroom, a double bed and two single beds in the second level bedroom and a pull out double futon and TV in the loft. There are 1 ½ baths. The cabin is 1000 square feet with an additional 200 sf screened in porch. All you need to bring is bedding/pillows and food!
